1. Agreement to these terms

These Terms of Use govern your access to and use of TV Remote・Universal, a universal TV remote application developed and operated by ViberzLab LLC. By downloading, installing, or using the app, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years of age to use TV Remote・Universal. By using the app, you represent that you meet this requirement. If you are under the age of majority in your jurisdiction, your parent or legal guardian must review and agree to these Terms.

3. Description of the service

TV Remote・Universal lets you control compatible smart TVs and streaming devices — including Samsung, LG (webOS), Android TV / Google TV, Roku, and other AirPlay- or DLNA-compatible devices — from your phone over your local Wi-Fi network. Features include directional and playback controls, volume and channel controls, a keyboard, app launching, a trackpad/mouse mode, and casting of photos and videos.

The app requires your phone and TV to be on the same local network, and its functionality depends on the capabilities and network settings of your particular TV. We do not guarantee compatibility with every device, model, or firmware version.

4. Trademarks and no affiliation

TV Remote・Universal is an independent, third-party application. It is not affiliated with, authorized, endorsed by, or in any way officially connected to Samsung, LG, Google, Android TV, Chromecast, Roku, Sony, Apple, or any other device manufacturer. All product names, brand names, logos, and trademarks are the property of their respective owners and are used for identification and compatibility purposes only.

5. Subscriptions and purchases

TV Remote・Universal offers a free tier with limited use and a premium subscription that unlocks unlimited control and additional features such as app launching, trackpad/mouse mode, and casting. Premium is offered as weekly, yearly, and lifetime options. All purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store.

Where offered, a free trial is available to new subscribers only and automatically converts to a paid subscription unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the trial period. Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the billing period through your Apple ID account settings. Payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase.

All purchases are final and non-refundable except as required by applicable law or Apple. For refund requests contact Apple Support. For app-related issues contact us at contact@viberzlabllc.com. Use of the app's paid features is also subject to Apple's Standard End User License Agreement (EULA).

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

Violate any applicable law or regulation
Use the app to control devices you do not own or are not authorized to use
Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the app
Interfere with or disrupt the app or its backend services
Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the app or a network
Upload malicious content or harmful code

7. Intellectual property

All content, design, and code in TV Remote・Universal are owned by ViberzLab LLC or licensed to us. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the app for personal, non-commercial purposes. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of the app without our prior written permission.

8. Privacy

Your use of TV Remote・Universal is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

9. Third-party services

TV Remote・Universal integrates with RevenueCat (subscription management), Supabase (feedback and diagnostics storage), and the Apple App Store. Your use of these services is subject to their respective terms. We are not responsible for the practices or content of any third-party services or third-party devices.

10. Disclaimer of warranties

TV Remote・Universal is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, compatible with every device, or free of harmful components.

11. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, ViberzLab LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of TV Remote・Universal. Our total liability for any claims shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or $10 USD, whichever is greater.

12. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to TV Remote・Universal at any time for conduct that violates these Terms or is harmful to other users or us. You may stop using the app at any time by deleting it from your device.

13. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will update the "Last updated" date when we do. Your continued use of TV Remote・Universal after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

14. Governing law

These Terms shall be governed by applicable law. Any disputes shall first be resolved through good-faith negotiation. If unresolved, disputes shall be submitted to binding arbitration or courts of competent jurisdiction.
